Verification

Models World staff can review a government ID that an advertiser uploads from the dashboard. The ID stays private. Visitors never see the ID number, the ID image, or a review date.

Uploading an ID does not by itself turn on a badge. The Verified badge appears only after staff accept the document. A badge is not a guarantee that every photo is current or that the advertiser is available.

Badge legend

  • Verified — staff reviewed a government ID. It is not a review of rates, photos, or availability.
  • CoverGirl — paid CoverGirl placement. It is not an identity check.
  • Nationwide — paid nationwide placement. It is not an identity check.
  • Featured — paid placement inside a city. The card does not show a Featured badge.
  • Touring — the listing has tour text. It is not a verification.
  • Photo count and Listed date — counts and dates from the listing. They are not a verification.

How to ask for verification

  1. Log in and open the advertiser dashboard.
  2. Upload a government ID for the listing.
  3. Wait for staff. The public page will not show a review date.
